We reserved for four nights in June. I called the RV Park and spoke to them about access to Sequoia National Park. They provided me with great information. However, they did not tell me that THE SOUTH ENTRANCE TO SEQUOIA IS CLOSED and it's an almost two hour drive to the North entrance. The RV park obviously knows this, and the nice woman who checked me in apologized that I had not been told, but we talked with two other families that night who had the same experience. The RV park obviously knows this, and the nice woman who checked me in apologized that I had not been told, but we talked with two other families that night who had the same experience. The park is just fine. It does allow fire pits and there's a nice swimming hole for kids. The campsites are close together but it's a pretty campground. Honestly, I would give it four stars if they hadn't deceived us, although I also should have done my homework. There's a cute little town just outside the park with a microbrewery on the river and a sweet ice cream shop for the kiddos. There are also a couple small markets nearby, which is handy. On a final note, only after specifically asking was I told that the campsite had a big problem with bike theft, to the point that they recommended either keeping your bike in your camper overnight or locking them up in their office, which closed at 4 p.m. and opened at 9 a.m. So, if you have a small camper or expensive bikes, this might not be the campground for you.

Sequoia RV Ranch is the 89th stop for us and we stayed for 4 nights as our gateway to Sequoia and Kings Canyon as it is only 10 minutes from Sequoias entrance. For check in, the office staff were very friendly and informative – my wife thought I got lost or something. The park itself is fine with a nice dog park with grass, a swimming hole (though dealing with an algae bloom), and was quiet (no trains, highways). They have 12 cable channels but pay a premium price for 50 amp and to be close to the... Read More

A couple of oddities: the washer/dryers are located in a mobile home park the fire pit for the neighboring site was less than six feet from the rig but thankfully no fires or would have melted the side of the rig bear activity and no bear safe dumpsters. For connectivity (late morning) T-Mobile no service Verizon 14.8 down/0.11 up WiFi 3.96 down/1.87 up.

Made reservations 8 months prior to arrival and clearly defined what I was driving, length of vehicle, fact that I was towing, and number of slide outs. I requested a 50 amp premium site and this was confirmed on my reservation. When I arrived I was given a site that was so out of level that I had to raise one of my tires 3 inches off the ground to get some semblance of level. When I went to hook up my power I found that there was no 50 amp service at this site. I immediately contacted management... Read More

When I went to hook up my power I found that there was no 50 amp service at this site. I immediately contacted management and requested a change of sites as this site had no 50 amp service as confirmed on my reservation which I showed them a copy of. They stated that they had no other 50 sites available and confirmed that they sites that were taken had made reservations after mine. They indicated that if I didn't like it I could leave. Since I did not want to attempt to find another park at this late date I was essentially forced to take what they offered. The space was so narrow that I couldn't even put out my awning and the patio was all broken up and out of level offering a major trip hazard. The site next to me was also in total disrepair and the seat on my table was rotting with portions missing. Thee are several other parks around the area that appear to be in better shape and I would recommend you give serious thought to making reservations at one of these other parks as it would take a lot of work to make them any worse.

Off the main highway about 2 miles back in, with easy access. Warning, some spaces can be a bit tight for a big rig so you need to make sure when you book to specify if this is an issue for you. Give up the 50 amp (as these are limited and in the tight areas) for a 30 amp if you need to. Camping is on gravel sights. Nice and convenient for access to the park.

Stayed 2 nights at this very nice park on the Kaweah River. Some back in sites are right on the river but we opted for a pull through that was close enough to hear the river at night. It's very quiet at night hearing only the river and frogs. Main road is paved and site roads are gravel with sites being grass and gravel and some have brick patios. It's about a 15 minute drive to the entrance to Sequoia N.P. Utilities all worked fine including good cable TV and wifi. Bathroom/shower utilities were... Read More

Very nice staff, appropriate facilities, great proximity to Sequoia National Park.

Very disappointed in the site I was put in. We were stuck in a very unlevel, cornered space in between a tree stump and a rock with no room to even sit out and blocking two other campsites. I don't know how they could call it a site. Most of the other sites were nice, gravel and level with sitting area and picnic table. Price was the same and we were told they were booked so no other spaces available, but there were lots of empty spaces, and we had booked well in advance. Roads were rough, not... Read More

If I booked there again, I would have to be guaranteed not to get stuck there again. No internet available.

Stayed 4 nights. Right on the river. Nice size lots, limited number of 50 amps. Good wifi and cable. Lots of trees and grass. Good doggie park. I would like to return for a longer stay.

We just returned from our trip to the Sequoia's and chose Sequoia RV Ranch due to its proximity to the national park entrance. The site we had was not river front, I wished it was as those spots seemed larger and having the river as your view would be great. The pull through site we were in was a little tight but all the travelers we encountered were very nice and easy going so no issues. The river, swimming hole and fishing spot kept my kids busy when we were there. The staff were very helpful... Read More

The river, swimming hole and fishing spot kept my kids busy when we were there. The staff were very helpful and friendly and seems very knowledgeable of the surrounding area and had good suggestions on where to get the little items we forgot or ran out of on our trip. While we were there they warned us that the site water needed to be boiled before consumed, not a big deal as we always travel with bottled water for drinking. Most of our time was spent in Sequoia National Park and relaxing in the river in the evening was a great way to end the days.

We chose to stay at Sequoia RV Ranch, as it was close to Sequoia National Park. Reservation process was easy, and the web site made a point of giving good directions to the park. (Always appreciate any extra details on finding the park.) Check in location was easy to find, and check-in went fine. We had requested a pull thru, as we have a longer 5th wheel, and we knew in advance that the site we requested only had 30 amp service. The site was easy to pull into. When we checked in, we were... (Always appreciate any extra details on finding the park.) Check in location was easy to find, and check-in went fine. We had requested a pull thru, as we have a longer 5th wheel, and we knew in advance that the site we requested only had 30 amp service. The site was easy to pull into. When we checked in, we were advised that there was an issue with the water, and they suggested we boil any drinking water. Since we always carry extra drinking water with us, it wasn't an issue. But if we were there for a longer stay, we probably would have needed more drinking water. Site was fairly level, 30 amp service was consistent. The site we had did not have sewer, but there was a dump station. The bathroom facilities were ok, nothing special, more bare bones than many parks we have stayed at, and the showers required quarters. The downside of the bathrooms is that they are nestled in between a section that is full of permanent mobile park residents, not RV residents. Felt a little strange to me. The special feature of the Ranch, is that it is next to a creek, they called the swimming hole. Easy flowing stream, not too deep, perfect for an afternoon dip on a hot sunny day. We took advantage of it on several hot days. There was wi-if, but it didn't work very well. We did receive good reception from our ATT phones. Used the laundry facility while we were there, only 2 washers and dryers. Again, bare-bones. Since our main objective was to be close to the National Park, it met our goals. But if we were in the area again, we would probably check out additional options.

We just got back from our very first trip in our new 24 foot RV and stayed 4 nights at this lovely resort. We "splurged" and got a premium River site and that was def worth the few extra dollars as the view was amazing! The sites were flat, large paved gravel, plus had a very nice concrete patio and a great cement fire pit. the road in and around was a tad tight but not impossible to maneuver. the bathrooms were at the end of the park in the permanent residence section, they were quite clean... The front desk was very friendly and checked to make sure everything was ok or if we needed anything; when I made my reservation the young man who helped me on the phone was very friendly and helpful. the little town of 3 Rivers is cute and you are about 15 minutes from the entrance to Sequoia NP, very nice although the road in is horribly curvey!!! We can't wait to return!
