(Note: We actually stayed in August 2020, but I procrastinated in writing a review so September 2020 was the earliest date on the visit dropdown.) Loved our week-long stay at this campground. I cannot believe how courteous the staff was during our 3 day stay. With all the issues with Covid19 going on, we were treated with kindness and help throughout the stay. Facilities are above the normal and out of 6 campgrounds that we stayed at throughout our vacation, this was the only one that offered usable cable tv. Will definitely be staying there on our next trip to Maine.

Very nice, well kept, family owned campground. It's quiet and clean with well laid out sites. Pet-friendly. It's about 20 miles to Acadia National Park but the drive was easy. The owner is friendly and gave us some great restaurant and site-seeing recommendations. The one drawback is the above the ground pool. We definitely recommend Forest Ridge. We were there for one week and hope to stay longer next year.

Friendly staff, clean grounds, poor water pressure.

We enjoyed staying here, The owners were very hands on and offered great advice on what to do and where to go. You are well centered here to get to all parts of the park and are out of all the chaos. They have a small above ground pool and no activities for small kids. But out two older (14 and 17) YO enjoyed the great WIFI and nice and clean bathrooms.

We camped at this part for 1 month, great location to visit Bar Harbor area. Out of rat race in Bar Harbor. Quiet park, owner lives on premises. Owner very accomadating, big lots. Enjoyed staying at this park to visit area & Acadia NP. Definitely would return to this park.

They advertise "large sites and quiet nights". Absolutely true. One of our best experiences and will certainly return. Convenient location, comfortable environment, and great management. Park was not glitzy but remarkably well maintained and clean.
