This is the 3rd year that we have stayed here . The campground this year is just as nice as it was the first time we stayed here . The owner and crew are first rate taking care of your needs and it is nice and quite with in 10 miles you are at Gatlinburg are about the same back roading it to Pigeon Forge . We will stay here again.

What a great place! Quiet and somewhat secluded yet still has full services and reasonably easy access to Gatlinburg and attractions. ATV tour from the campground was a great experience with a terrific guide.

We spent 7 nights at Smoky Mountain Premier RV (Gatlinburg East KOA). The campground was only about 25% full as we stayed before they have got into the summer busy season. The grounds are well maintained. Although we did not use the bathrooms, they were fantastic. The laundry room was also great. the owner would stop by to chat from time to time while he was constantly working on the campground. He helped us with a minor mishap getting our vehicle off of our tow dolly. The staff was all very... Read More

The laundry room was also great. the owner would stop by to chat from time to time while he was constantly working on the campground. He helped us with a minor mishap getting our vehicle off of our tow dolly. The staff was all very friendly. When you purchased firewood, they delivered it regardless of how close or far your site was. We were in a pull through site that was very large. As we walked around the park, except for the sites that were physically too short for our coach, we would stay in almost all of them. The park is about 15-20 minutes to Gatlinburg. The drive is a very nice one. The Wi-Fi and cable were both great. We were close to the office, so do not know how it performed at the back of the park. All the sites had at least part shade. In just a few years as the tree crowns start to expand, it will be an extremely shady park. Although we did not use it the pool and playground were both very nice. We would definitely stay there again.

Very clean new facilities; cute community area with books to borrow and tv; exercise room; helpful desk receptionist; camp spaces are somewhat crowded and not private for the price though; they would not give me the sams discount because they said it was a holiday which was not on their website its why we went there in the first place; its not the discount itself just think they should do what they say they are going to do. The fee was a lot higher than I expected did not know about the extra taxes applied too all in all not a great value for the cost. I did like it that the park backed right up to the campground this was a great thing; we were going to buy some of their 4 wheel tours but decided not to when it did not meet our expectations. Most likely will not stay here again, there are other places that have a better value, I would recommend getting a written quote before you stay there.

Extremely clean facility, especially the bath house. Courteous and friendly staff, very helpful day or night about getting you situated on your site. Beautiful location and very helpful on where to go and what to do. Ice, garbage pickup and wood delivery to sites are also a big plus. My family and I are looking forward to our next visit!!

The way to the campground (321) is a narrow, somewhat windy road, With trees close to the road edge. The campground itself, is all gravel, dusty, and the sites are stair stepped, so I don't feel that they are that large, as there is a 2 foot drop to the site on one side you, and a 2 food bank to the site on the other side of you. With our large rig, the picnic table, fire pit and our basement doors open, it was really tight for us. We were on site #50. We paid $66.00 for over night standard pull... Read More

With our large rig, the picnic table, fire pit and our basement doors open, it was really tight for us. We were on site #50. We paid $66.00 for over night standard pull through site. There are trees on all the sites, and with our slide outs, it made it a little tight for us,. They do have super pull through sites, but they are 2 back to back sites that you can use as one long pull through. That was almost $80.00 per night. The plusses to this park is that it is right at the Smokey Mountain National Park. It had a large mowed area just out side the campground that you could let your dog off lease as long as the listen. If you want a quiet, Rustic park, that gives you the feeling of a state park with full hookups. This is the park. We stayed here overnight. If the front office doesn't tell you. DO NOT USE GPS. Follow the directions on their website. GPS will take you down the parkway.

This was our first camping experience and we were very pleased. Everything and everyone was super nice. They even had a fenced off area for our dog which I have never seen before. Beautiful location and away from all the noise of the city.

Beautiful sites with everything you could possibly need including ice cream from the store! Pull thrus, back-ins and shared sites among the heavily treed woods make this a jewel along the mountain side. We had a beautiful site looking out through the woods. The air was so crisp and cool that we slept quietly with the windows open. Best part is the people that were just amazingly kind and generous with everything! The owners are extremely nice & helpful. The park is very clean & quiet. While our site accommodated our 40' 5th wheel with 3 slideouts, there wasn't enough room to park our truck at our site. The internet where we were wasn't reliable at all. Very limited service at best. I have to work via the intnernet while I'm away from home for a couple of hours a day & had to end up using my data plan. This was very disappointing since we weren't allowed reserve using our Passport America. The fact... Read More

This was very disappointing since we weren't allowed reserve using our Passport America. The fact that the park was very family oriented, we were a bit surprised that the music performed on Saturday was no much more than beer drinking songs. It was extremely loud & long especially for those parked close to the office. This is a relatively new park, so I feel sure the owners will do what they can to solve some of our issues.

The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful The cleanest bathrooms I have seen at any RV resort. There were several things to do at the resort for all ages.

The bathrooms were clean, but if you wanted to use them you needed to take a towel for drying your hands. No paper towels or air dryers. There were also no trash cans anywhere in the park. You had to take the trash about 1/8 of a mile to the dumpster near the gate. There wasn't a blade of grass on the property. Everywhere is big chucky gravel. Like camping in a gravel pit. We paid for a pull through site, which is an extra $3. We decided not to take our pull trailer and didn't need it. We were told... Read More

The internet was very slow and kept locking us out. I tried several computers and got the same results. I reported it to the owner, but he took a hard stand and said it was my fault. He wouldn't let me explain the problem to him. I used to work IT, so I know how things work. Upon leaving I asked if I could have a receipt for the gate card to show I turned it in, and this same owner just went off on me. He cursed and told me to get off the property. I asked he why he was getting so upset, but he just kept telling me to leave. I guess I insulted him by asking for a receipt. I have NEVER been treated so badly. I gave them 1 STAR only because I couldn't give them anything lower.

We loved this campground and are already planning our return trip for next year -- and next time we are bringing friends! The layout is nice with large spaces for each rig. There are plenty of trees, and the staff was friendly. The location was great for enjoying the National Park and was further off the highway than the other campsites in the area. We loved the easy access to trails, too. The campground facilities are immaculate and well maintained; they even have individual full bathrooms that... Read More

Great resort - only drawback was the sites are all gravel which was difficult for our dogs. Bathrooms are very clean and have shower, toilet and sink all in same room. Staff is very helpful, especially to rookies like us.

This family run campground has got to be the nicest, most relaxing we've been to and WE WILL RETURN! They accommodated our RV and trailer into an easy spot. They guide you in and help you line up in your spot. The bathroom and laundry facilities are cleaner than my home! Everyone was so nice, every question was answered, every direction was fulfilled, any advise of what to do was spot on, just the nicest, most relaxing weekend yet in our RV, and I'm OCD. Quiet hours were respected, fire pits on every campsite, trees on every site, picanic tables on all sites, UTV excursions available, in-ground pool, horseshoes, Frisbee-golf, country store, and the nicest of people. We live in Virginia Beach and will be regulars at this campground from here on out. Thanks for the great experience!

The 4 days we were there the staff was always trying to have something going under the pavilion for everyone, be it dutch oven cooking to watching football games. The staff is very pleasant... There is a large in-ground swimming pool and a new playground area for kids. Plenty of trees throughout but not in the way of backing or turning. We were in a 39' 5th wheel. We will definitely be back.
