We recently stayed at Harbortown RV resort and felt it was an overall good stay at nice, clean park. The location is convenient, just a minute off of I-75 south of Detroit and just a few miles north of the Ohio border. You can hear the highway, and there are occasional trains operating on the three lane track along one of the park's property lines. Sites are nice, with some having trees at both ends of the pull through sites. Note they are close together and, while pretty and good for shade,... Read More

You can hear the highway, and there are occasional trains operating on the three lane track along one of the park's property lines. Sites are nice, with some having trees at both ends of the pull through sites. Note they are close together and, while pretty and good for shade, did cause clearance issues with our 45' coach. Other sites without trees are plentiful, so this can be avoided. The pads on the sites are narrow, just enough room to keep tires off the grass. Roads are navigable with a big coach and toad with the usual caution required. The sites are narrow too, but nothing I would consider out of the norm for private parks. Like many other parks we have stayed at, the utility hook-ups were in odd places for our mid-ship connections. Our cable was not working and the water was turned off for the season (can't comment on pressure). Park was clean and well kept with plenty of activities available (horseshoes, basketball, open fields, plus the season amusement park and pool). I believe we'll be back in the summer to see how the park is when in full swing.

So I came in in Jan. the girls here are great, the washer/dryers are a bit expensive about 10.00 for a good load of laundry by the time you fold them. they only plow here after the storm is over and the snow is packed down. after an ice storm I asked and they needed to ask the owner and no salt, a few people fell here and they did not salt or call to see if they were ok. the internet keeps dropping. I will stay if I have to again but this owner is not about the campers just the $

Convenient to the highway exit. Staff friendly but, not go out of their way kind of friendly. Would not come back unless I needed to. Concrete pads are broken, our site was off level a lot, and real narrow sites overall. Another issue is WiFi, always dropping. Staff acknowledges issue and same excuse as always, too many are using it. This is just another campground that does not provide good WiFi. Did not use the facilities or pool, but they looked kept up. Heard kids roaming around the campground... Read More

Railroad nosies in the background can be heard at night. A McDonalds and gas station nearby, a lot of vacant stores in the area.

We stayed here because of the convenience to Dearborn where we were visiting the museums. The facilities themselves were very nice, clean and well kept. The only reason I am giving the overall rating of a 3 is because we were there for three days and we were never able to connect to their wifi. I feel if a campground is going to advertise they have wifi, then it needs to work for all campers.

Stayed in mid March there were only a few spots left with full hook ups due winter time and only few locations with heated water outlets. No rating for the restrooms, we use our own in the coach. Located just off I75 so when outside you can hear the traffic. Train tracks right next to the camp ground but not a real issue, only ran a few times a day. we would stay there again seems to be a nice place and great staff. If you have kids, if would be great due to all the things to do, i.e. go-cart track,... Read More

This park is fantastic and they really care. It's hard to find an RV park that keeps everything in top shop but this one does it all. They care about you as a customer and they treat everyone with respect. This park is also loaded with amenities.
