Clean campground with friendly staff. Great communication. We received text messages giving detailed directions being that Google Maps directions are incorrect. Our campsite was on the lake, which made the site a little larger. Hubby fished and caught a small bass. Neighboring campsite's utilities where right outside our door. I don't understand why campgrounds are designed that way.

Great RV park with awesome hospitality!

The hosts were welcoming, friendly and seemed well organized. They had a little shop with essentials. The majority of the spaces that seemed to be allocated for the short term stays were in the front of the facility backing up to the small lake/pond and were a continuous strip of generally level gravel with hookups at the back end of each space. The spacing was fairly close but there was a good green space behind most campers stretching to the pond. The far side of the lake seemed to be mostly... Read More

The spacing was fairly close but there was a good green space behind most campers stretching to the pond. The far side of the lake seemed to be mostly full time residents, a school bus made the rounds each day. Some of these campers had sites that had various items scattered all over the place but a majority were well maintained. Road from the highway to the facility (Lux) was not two full lanes wide and required pulling to the shoulder if another large vehicle approached in the opposite direction. The longish dirt/gravel driveway into the resort is a one way system which isn't obvious from the signage from the road but is once inside the park (toward the exit). The resort is far enough from the highway that we didn't notice any road noise.

Very nice quiet campground. Weekends fill up quickly. Restrooms are older but extremely clean. Owners and staff are helpful if you have issues. WiFi is available at the club house/office. Not available at the sites themselves but in my experience in traveling across the country not many campgrounds have reliable high speed WiFi at the campsites. Far enough out of town to avoid all of the distractions and noise of the city but close enough to drive within about 15 minutes. Will stay hear again... Read More

We loved this campground. Very peaceful. Nice dog park. Campsites have fire ring but no access to firewood??? We didn't use restroom so couldn't give accurate rating.

Nice property - remote - quiet. Don't let long drive in alarm you - worth it. Nice lakes and ponds. Not much for tv but wifi - with an external antenna - was okay. Didn't use the bathrooms so I did not rate. It is a Will-stay-again park.

This place was absolutely beautiful! We stopped here by chance because we didn't make it as far as we wanted and man am I glad we did!!! It is on some of the prettiest property I've seen. The sites surround a little pond with beautiful geese and ducks. We have a 42' toy hauler and the pull in sites were very easy to maneuver. There was a dog park and pool, clubhouse and fishing pond all surrounded by these huge big trees. Very well kept grounds and the permanent residents even welcomed us upon arrival.... Read More

This is a beautiful park. The staff is wonderful. The sights are level, large and the power, water and sewer are accessible and well maintained. The only reason for the 4 s is that there is no cable and wi- fi is only at the office. This park is quite a ways from the highway but well worth the drive. Make sure you take Lux road and don't follow gps.

Stopped here on our way to Branson from Florida for a one night stay. Off the beaten path which made it very quiet and relaxing. We were able to walk around the entire campground visiting with the other campers. They have cabins available as well as permanent sites. Great get-a-way but be careful going in - roads are very narrow! They do have ice cream!

Very nice staff and location. The park is far enough from the highway to be quiet and relaxing. We stopped on our way to Florida but would have enjoyed staying longer if we had had more time. Several fishing lakes that don't require a license to fish from. Internal roads in and out are windy and much easier to do in the light of day. (We arrived after dark) Spaces were level and adequatly size to allow separation from neighbors. Water pressure was good and the water had a pleasant taste. I... Read More

I didn't rate the bathrooms because this is very difficult to do and still be fair. This campground isn't a luxury resort and doesn't have unbelievably fancy bathroom but the facilities are clean and very adequate for the style of campground that it is. We used the showers and have no complaints.

This campground is located in a very nice setting. My site was level. The men's bath house was almost not functional. however. It looked like it might have been under construction, but there were open walls and electrical boxes. It had only one small usable shower with no hooks or benches. Dirt was on top of the toilet.

First, do not trust your GPS to find this location. Call the office and the staff will give you good directions. Once on the way to the park from the main road, the signage is good. The road into the park is narrow in spots, which can be challenging to drive for any RV rig longer than say 25 feet, but definitely doable as confirmed by the number of travel trailers and 5th wheels I saw in the park. The staff member who check me in was very friendly and funny, and quite probably, the owner of the... Read More

The staff member who check me in was very friendly and funny, and quite probably, the owner of the park. The check in process was quick and efficient. No problem. I can not comment on most of the amenities at this park as my wife and I only overnighted at this park while driving through Mississippi on our way to Texas. The only amenity I can comment on is the restrooms/bathhouse as that is the one amenity we used. The restrooms and bathhouses were terrible and desperately in need of repair and TLC. There were lots of ants crawling around. On the men's side of the bathhouse, there was only one operating shower. Another shower stall was being used as a paint and hardware storage locker and another was "out of order" with its walls down and the wood framing behind the shower walls being dried out by a fan. I had to wait in line to take a shower in the one working shower. The stall was tight with only a tiny area to place your dry clothing and no place to place my toiletry kit. I ended up draping my clothing over the shower stall door and leaving my toiletry kit on the lavatory counter. If I was rating only the showers on a 1 to 5 scale, I would give it a negative 2. Why so harsh? I travel in a 22 foot Class B van conversion which has a telephone booth sized sit down shower so the bathing facilities at any RV park I stay at is an amenity I weigh very heavily in my review. If one is traveling in a larger rig that has a good sized stand up shower inside the rig and you don't need the showers provided by the park, then the quality of the park's showers would be of much less concern to you.

The staff here are very friendly and helpful. The park is located on a small pond and has geese and ducks that seem to live here. The road into and out of the park are scary narrow as is the road that leads to the park from highway 49. The site I was on sloped towards the pond, so choks are advisable. No internet, except at the office, cable seems to be a work in progress, but I was able to access DIRECTV Now on my tablet. The showers could use some work as they are very old and some insect spray... Read More

Trees need trimmed for big rigs. Beware, there is a no refund policy so be sure andncheck it out first. Dog crap everywhere, trash laying around. No grass, no picnic table. Laundry was filthy. Way too many permanents that have trashed the place. This isnt a campground, its low income housing project.

Roads from highway to RV park are so narrow as to be dangerous. Dirt/gravel roads within the park are very dusty. It was so bad I had to wash the toad after unhooking to see out the windows. While the sites were fairly level, none were paved or gravel. No cable TV and no WIFI at sites. To get WIFI you had to go to the office.

Be sure to ask for directions, and be prepared for a dirty rig. Staff was super nice. we were only there over night and did not use facilities. They do have 3 private ponds/lakes you can fish with no license. But we found it very hard to find, roads were scary narrow, and the gravel/dirt roads at the park left our camper and truck a filthy mess.

Nice, quiet small park with large fishing pond, pool, and clubhouse. Pet ducks and geese. Most sites back up to pond (pretty views). Gravel pads. Very friendly management. Entry/exit roads questionable for big rigs, but they were working on them while we were there. No cable or wifi. We visited for only a couple of nights, and did not explore nearby Hattiesburg - but there are some museums that looked very interesting. Would return.

Really beautiful area with friendly staff. The road getting there is bad though. There were only a couple pull through spots available. One by the entrance, and another in the back on what seemed more like a road than a campsite, all dirt, except a sprig of grass by the water spigot . Glad it didn't rain. Big pond for fishing, fenced area for the pets. Wonderful pool. Wifi only available in the rec room. Mostly full timers here but everyone was friendly and it was well kept.

This park is considerably off the highway, out in the country. It is not hard to find if you follow the directions, and there are adequate signs along the way. The owner and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. There is a small lake, with sites all around it - when we were there the water level was quite low, so I am sure it is prettier when it is full. They do not have cable, but they do have an option to let you use a satellite box and are glad to help you get it set up. They also have... Read More
