We spent a long weekend (Friday-Monday) at Daddy Joes. The process from reservation to check in was seamless and easy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The grounds are well maintained and it's clear the owner is investing in the property with expansion. We had a spacious concrete pad with full hookups (no issues). Facilities were immaculate. Plenty to do on the property and a grocery store is a short ride away. We enjoyed our stay very much and will certainly be back again soon.

We've stayed here at least once a year for the past five years. This place just gets better and better. Very quiet rural setting, but only a 30 minute drive from North Myrtle Beach. We find the location perfect. There is a grocery store and several restaurants within a five minute drive. The grass is maintained almost as well as a golf course and you'll have to search to find a bit of trash on the ground. Most sites are on concrete pads with pretty crepe myrtle trees, but no shade. If that's... Read More

If that's important to you, they have some wooded sites. They have really cool quad sites with a shared lawn if you are with a group. The bath houses are individual full baths that are more than clean enough. There are plenty of activities scheduled, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. The cafe food is good and reasonably priced. They added a new Splash zone for the kids that had me grinning ear to ear watching my kids play. It's like something out of a water park. Three pools and a water slide help keep you cool too. There's new playground equipment too. If you are like us and want to be close to the beach without being AT the beach, this place is perfect. You might just find yourself not wanting to leave. We can't wait to go back next year.

Make your reservation now for winter....Snowbirds, everything you need and only half hour to Myrtle Beach. We have just spent 5 months traveling !-10W and wow this was still... Read More

First of all, I knew going in that this was for the grand children, and it met their expectations and ours as far as that is concerned. Now, this is where I have issues. You publish rules, i.e. speed, children driving golf carts, etc, none were monitored or observed. Landscapers, running weed eaters on occupied sites and hitting RVs with debris, and not cleaning up after done. When these issues were brought to the attention of the office, I felt as how I was the problem, not the issues, they... Read More

Unless the grandkids ask to come back, we will not, thank you very much.

Very nice park that is located driving distance to South Carolina beaches. Nice and clean facilities with large sites and clean restrooms. Nice sized water park with slides and multiple pools. Park seems to be geared towards families with kids. There were a lot of teenagers when camped during the summer time. When we camped during the winter there was few campers so it was nice and quiet. This is without a doubt one of the best parks that we have traveled to. We will be going here again.
