Very nice and well maintained. Only stayed for the night but will be making this a regular stop when going through ABQ.

We camped at the High Desert RV Park for 2 nights the first week of March 2019. This was our second time to stay at the RV park, the last time was in 2016. Yes, we liked this RV Park so much that we returned the next time we were in Albuquerque! This park is very well maintained with the managers living on site. The appearance of the park is as you would expect for desert camping gravel campsites. There are young trees and shrub landscaping at the ends of many of the rows of campsites. This... Read More

This landscaping fits the local environment perfectly. All the main roads throughout the park are paved making driving through the park easy while keeping dust to a minimum. There is plenty of room to maneuver even the largest RV through the park and into your pull-through campsite. Our site was large enough to be very comfortable. For me the best part of our campsite was that it was level. I use a 4 foot level to check the level of my Class C motorhome when I park our site was dead-level as we drove in. At our campsite we had water, sewer and 30 amp electric for $33 per night. The WiFi download speed was between 2 and 9 Mbps (checked multiple times of the day) and there were more TV channels available through our antenna than we cared to watch. High Desert RV Park is very convenient to I-40, fuel and easy access to west Albuquerque. In addition, there is a Camping World and another RV dealership within a half mile of the park if you need service or supplies during your stop in Albuquerque. The road noise at night was minimal we slept great here. All the positive comments made by another review from 2015 (below this post) are all still accurate including the 3 dog parks, the well kept full-time campsites in the park, and the very clean and well maintained facilities here. This is a wonderful RV Park. Next time in ABQ, this is where we will stay!

This is a good park, nothing fancy, a safe and secure stay. It is big, very big, with an assortment of long term and permanent tenants, but plenty of room for overnight travelers. The park is carefully maintained, neat as a pin, with the long term units kept to a high standard. There is very attractive desert style landscaping. Nothing is out of place. There are three, yes three dog parks. They are big fenced yards, one in each of three corners of the park. The park roads are asphalt, the pads... Read More

The individual sites are close, but not uncomfortably. Try to get a site on the end of a row; they are bigger. The lots appear long, but most mh's had to unhook their tow, as we did. Utilities were well placed and convenient. All sites we saw appeared very level and well maintained. There was no cable, because you are in Albuquerque and OTA channels are available. Wi-fi was available and good enough. Of note is the brand new office bldg., which houses many activities. There is a very nice office and small store, but also a very big rec-room with tables and chairs for cards, a big new tv and two professional, high end pool tables. Also in this bldg. was the laundry and men's and women's bathrooms and showers. These are the bathrooms I would recommend using. They are well cleaned frequently and monitored during they day because folks are in the office. They are new and comfortable and sparkling clean. There are bathrooms toward the rear of the grounds in a free standing building of modular design. I would not bother. They did not appear to be clean or maintained. I saw broken fixtures as well as small items that needed repair. They looked dirty and unkempt. If they are checked it is not often. The park is brightly lit at night with municipal style lighting. This is a good overnight stay with good security and control.
