Trying to be objective and fair I am at loss as to why anyone would pay their price for this alleged "resort". My hot tub is as big as their pool. I left my rig there in June of 22 and returned to it Aug 19th. I paid $88. per month for storage on a grass surface. They have endless storage room but I was told to move from my preferred spot to one further back near the woods. When I returned in August the ground was so swampy I literally sunk down to my ankles. Ok, it had rained but they had to know... Read More

Ok, it had rained but they had to know the ground was unstable. Next, I went to one of their all-pull-through spots by traversing roadways that would be more at home in central America. Potholes everywhere. Exacerbating this mess was the road surface of granulated, pulverized cement. It stuck to my brand-new truck. Tires, wheels, fenders, and rocker panels. I'm not complaining about dirt. Dirt is acceptable on a 4x4. I'm talking grit that I was afraid to bring to a car wash for fear they would abraid the paint. The staff is congenial and helpful but the place doesn't cut it. I do not use public restrooms/showers so dk about them. I never mind spending for quality. I drive a 2022 Ram Laramie/cumins and pull a 2022 38' Montana. I expected more for $524.49 for 7 nights.

Brunswick Beaches Camping Resort is a small, quiet, family campground, which makes it an absolutely perfect base from which to enjoy the nearby beaches, or visit family in the area. I was on a 30-amp site with full hookups, and utility connections were perfect for my rig. Most of the sites are shaded by graceful old trees, so you don't get as much of a beating from the sun. I only peeked in to the bath house, since my rig has its own facilities, but everything looked clean and well-maintained, if... Read More

The staff were very friendly and responsive, and dealt with a billing error quickly and professionally. The small camp store is fairly well-stocked with the necessities, and you can find anything else you want less than a mile away in most cases. There is on-site security after office hours, so you can check in late if need be, and sleep soundly at night. A nice feature is an air tower and vacuum on the driveway, so you can clean up your rig and check tires before you leave, just be sure to bring plenty of quarters. I would happily stay there again, and enthusiastically recommend this campground to anyone looking for a quiet site near Myrtle Beach and Sunset Beach.

Close to beaches, clean restrooms, level sites and some are shaded. We've been coming here for ten years. But the roads have not been maintained and are riddled with potholes. It rained on and off for two days and the roads and our site was a mud hole. Our RV was surrounded by water. We stepped into three inches of water getting and out of our RV. Good family campground, but beware if it starts to rain.

Absolutely the WORST RV Park, we have Ever Stayed at!!!...The Staff was Extremely Rude and for the cleaning lady to close the showering area from 11am-2pm the facilities were Nasty!!! The cleaning lady also brought her personal laundry to do while the guests were doing their laundry, just blows my mind!!!...it might have been a different story if all the machines worked, oh and expect to be watched like a hawk!!! They were accusing our group of having like 12 people staying in our RV that barely... Read More

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!!

I'm not one to write a review but this time I will. Bathrooms: clean Staff: ok Grounds: Horrible! I understand it had rained. However potholes were everywhere crush and run was on each site only for wheels to go over but most site grounds area were very muddy, and not much grass on the area to set up under our awning. Definitely has potential to be a good campground but is in dire need of some TLC on the grounds. SHOCKED that Good Sams gave a good rating. Makes me question their criteria... Read More

The location is great - 15 minutes from multiple beaches. The folks running the park and their workers were very nice and went out of their way for us. The 50 amp fuse failed at 7:30 pm, and they jumped right on it and replaced it in 5 minutes. We had an RV spot, tent site, and the deluxe cabin - all very nice. Nice lake for fishing. Quiet. Picnic table and fire pit at each site. The only negative, and I have to be honest - despite how nice the owners were - the sites could be nicer. The sewer... Read More

The sewer connection from one site is in the sites next door. There's just a narrow beat up asphalt pad just wide enough for the RV, and the grass is growing into the dirt streets. So everything is 5 star except the looks/site setup don't quite get there. Would we go back, though? - absolutely.

Had a relaxing week! We truly enjoyed this campground. The staff is awesome, always making sure you have everything you need. Clean restrooms and showers. Quiet evenings in the campground. Can't ask for a better location! Close to Ocean Isle Beach, Sunset Beach and Myrtle Beach! We will definitely return to Brunswick Beaches Camping Resort! Thanks for a great week! ??

absolutely the friendliest and most helpful people we've ever had the pleasure of doing business with. As full timers it was great to meet people like these three. Loved the site. Level on arrival cable worked. Pedestal was well placed site has fire ring and concrete table and benches.

Predicted and actual lots of rain this summer. Facility did not prepare or add gravel/ stones to sites even though it rained for weeks on end thriugh season.A muddy mess for our 5 day visit. One man on a small tractor added a few stones or gravel on our last day. Slow as molasses! We don't usually stay at KOA. Been burnt twice before. Because Good Sam's had given it a high rating we gave it a chance. We thought it was now owned by Good Sams. On arrival we learned it was really or mostly KOA. The... Read More

Because Good Sam's had given it a high rating we gave it a chance. We thought it was now owned by Good Sams. On arrival we learned it was really or mostly KOA. The long entry had room for only one rv/ vehicle. We had to back way up at one point to allow a Big Class A by. The person in Registration, (unclearly marked) was in the General Store Bldg. She was a young high school girl. Tried her best but not a professional customer service agent at all. Disappointed that Good Sam associated with this KOA camp. 3 strikes and KOA is Out. Even though they offered us a free stay in past. No thanks!! KOA.. Going down the tubes. Lost confidence in Sam's rating system.

At $70/night I expected a premier type of RV Resort. What we got was and old KOA that has not been updated in years. The gravel sites have not had additional gravel added in decades. After a heavy rain its muddy. Don't get off the gravel or you will sink in. Single lane paved entrance road is too narrow for two RVs to pass and if you get off the road you probably sink in. Restrooms and laundry are clean but not well ventilated. Here on a holiday weekend and there are only 6-7 short termers. This... Read More

Restrooms and laundry are clean but not well ventilated. Here on a holiday weekend and there are only 6-7 short termers. This is a long term stay area only. If you are pulling a car and want on overnight pull through, be prepared to disconnect or have at least 50' of sewer hose. Concrete tables are too close to the site to lay out carpet and the rules say they will charge you $75 if you move them. It appears that over half the trees are dead. The pool is green and the volley ball goal is almost on the ground. This would be an ok park at $35-40/ night but is grossly overpriced for what you get.
