First time staying we stayed for 7 days and loved it. Spacious pull thru lot, Peaceful and quiet. Pet friendly. Staff was wonderful. Booked for next year. Only advice would be to book early. Look forward to staying again.

This has to be one of the nicest campgrounds I have ever stayed in! The RV sites are large, the grounds are immaculate, showers and laundry rooms are the best. The RV area was so peaceful and relaxing with a wonderful view of the lake. Just an overall gorgeous place. The owner was awesome, she gave us great referrals for restaurants, places to visit and things to do. She was always trying to go above and beyond for any questions I may have had. We are from Upstate NY and just loved this campground... Read More

We have stayed at this RV park since shortly after they opened. We had stayed at another park around there before which was less than stellar. Deer Run is about 4 or 5 miles out from the I40 on a fairly narrow paved road. Do not let the distance or narrow road deter you! The park is one often most beautiful ones we have ever stayed in and we have been all over the US! It is so restful, peaceful, and quiet here. Roomy campsites, various things for children, tennis courts, playground, lake,... Read More

Owner and help are anxious to please and and very helpful. If you have stayed here before, they will remember and even call you by name! This park is well worth the drive out here! Reasonably priced.

We stayed at this park for 2 weeks. The park has a lot of wide open space to walk. The office and support staff was great!

As newbies to both our motorhome and to rv'ing in general, we could not have picked a better campground to begin our odyssey! The owners were incredibly understanding and accommodating. The site was spacious. The facilities were spotless. The entire campground was clean and well cared for. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4-night stay and will definitely come again!

After traveling for a few days and having to really work to have a level trailer at other camp sites, it was a very pleasant surprise to back into a large improved site with grass and a level gravel pad that required no blocks or jacks to level. Just unhook, set the tongue height and put down the stabilizers was all it took. The store/check-in lodge was well provisioned and very clean. The staff was very nice and helpful. The map of the park does not do it justice. The place is huge!!

Found this resort on Good Sam and after reading most of the reviews and checking out their website, decided to call and see if they had last minute availability for the Easter holiday- the owner could not have been more accommodating with our request and took time to locate what she felt were the best sites for our fifth-wheel and request to have best view of the lake. The site was perfect and only steps away from the lake...it was perfect! The facility was very quiet and relaxing and family oriented.... Read More

It's only minutes from interstate, but tucked in a secluded country setting. We enjoyed our stay so much that we decided to make reservations for Labor Day- this will definitely be one of our resorts to return to!!!

We have stayed here several times, and some of the sites are spacious, have lake views, and grassy lawns for tenting.
