Riverbend is an upscale RV resort situated in a beautifully landscaped setting with large, paved, private sites. Many of the sites are privately owned by retirees who come to Florida for the winter. Ours was a pull-in, facing a lake with a fountain. We were there for three nights with a group of 15 other coaches that were scattered all over the park. In peak season river sites are $140 per night. The fee does not include free wifi...and our cable TV connection was poor. Landscapers woke us up at 7 am, trimming trees and bushes. I would not stay here again because the park is not convenient to Fort Myers. It's nearly an hour from Fort Myers beach and just over an hour from Sanibel. However, I imagine this would be a fun place to stay in peak season if you're interested in getting involved in the activities and don't mind being far from the beach.
