Bull Run Regional Park is just off RT#66 in Centreville, VA, near Washington DC. It is a clean, huge park with lots of pavilions and a waterpark. The campgrounds are in the back of park. The set up of this park is very odd. Although they call it a pull-through site, it is more like you are just pulling-off along the side of the road to your site. We had full hook ups, but they were on the wrong side, so we had to run all of the lines under our rig or choose to have our door open directly into the... Read More

Its also a bit pricey for a regional park, especially with no wifi or cable, and only (1) working bath house. We paid $160 for three nights. There are definitely cheaper and better options out there. We won't be staying here again.

This was our first stay here. We stayed for 11 nights in the middle of May. Unfortunately VA had a Lot of rain before we arrived. We had a Pull Thru. The first site we had chosen was very muddy and the location of the hookups was extremely odd at the side backside of the loop and Very Close to the road. We requested to move because our trailer front was as low as it could go and the back was on blocks, just to be level. Due to this the sewer hookup was "up hill" from the trailer. We spent one... We spent one night and moved to a much better spot the next day. Not completely level but much better. The restrooms were nice, bright and Clean. This park is gorgeous!! I really wouldn't mind coming back here again! We did hear the shooting range. It is NOT a problem at all. Yes, they start about 9AM. However, it wasn't bad and they Did Not continue all day. This is a great place!

This is a large community park just off I-66 about ® hour west of Washington, DC. The park has huge open areas, picnic pavilions and a water park. The campground is wooded with nice sized site pads. The driveways are asphalt in good condition and the site pads are gravel. We had a large "pull along" site with 50 amp electric plus water. A dump station is available. The bathrooms are nice and super clean. We paid $44.76 per night.

Nice park, but a long road that is narrow and winding for RV's. No Wi-Fi and No cable TV, (antenna TV worked ok) Biggest drawback is a shooting range that is part of the park that cranks up at 9 AM and is very noisy. >>all day. If you want to experience what the noise level was like in the Civil War, well this is the place for you. The facilities and sites were fine.
