Over the past 2 years my wife and I have traveled over 20,000 miles in my fifth wheel. Spring Creek in Canmore, AB is by far the worst camp site that we have stayed in. It is part of a local mobile home lot with most of them rundown and yards full of trash. The drives are full of pot holes. The rest rooms are extremely dirty and you have to pay to use the water to shower. The internet is a no go. Many of the campers are temporary workers that are staying in the park, so they don't care about... Read More

The price we are paying for the camp ground is one of the highest as I expected for this time of year and when I looked at the pictures I felt very good about making our reservation. I sure was fooled. As I said, it is absolutely the worst camp ground we have stayed in. Don't get fooled by the pictures and I recommend you don't stay at this site.

This campground is set in the Rockies with a 360 degree view of the mountains but this is where the allure ends. The actual facility is decaying. What pavement is left is crumbling and in a state of severe disrepair. My wife fell off her bicycle due to a deep pot hole. From nearby construction, the squealing of earth movers disrupted our solitude from 7 am to 7 pm. Large dump trucks actually rushed past our site throughout the day leaving a trail of diesel fumes. Even though we were the only folks in the office, check-in took over 30 minutes. We were over charged $61 per night to park our Class B in a 30 amp site. The facility offered only a 5% discount for our Good Sam membership. Even though we paid for full services, there is a $1 charge for shower use in a marginally maintained restroom. Overall, a poor experience for us.

Don't stay here. This combined permanent trailer park/RV campground is not being maintained. Owners are building resort condos and phasing this out. Internet never worked, gross bathrooms, dilapidated facilities, sewer odors, water did not always work, YUK. Staff were pleasant but they could not fix anything

Actually stayed there in July, 2015. We were traveling from Washington to North Dakota via the long way and ran across this place through Good Sam GPS. Called ahead and was lucky to get a spot as they were pretty busy. Unfortunately it was a small spot that I could barely spot my trailer so I could get the slide out out as well the door to open. Going back this year to a different location. The folks have been very helpful, both last year and this.
