We stayed two nights in a 35' Class A with toad. Site was long enough, relatively level gravel, with good hook ups. Large grass front yard for fur baby. Nice quiet park. Stayed extra day to visit USAF Museum. Amazing museum. Would stay again.

This is by far one of the best campgrounds that I've ever had the pleasure of camping. The check in was smooth and effortless, someone escorted us to our site, they delivered firewood to our campsite, there was a pig roast for the campers, it was absolutely amazing. The sites are big enough for my trailer as well as my truck and very level. They have a concrete pad with a picnic table and fire ring. The full hookups are located at the back of the spaces which is convenient after you back in.... Read More

The staff is amazing. They are very attentive and always available. The bathroom facilities are gorgeous and clean. If you haven't been to this KOA, you should definitely make it one of your stops. If you run out of things to do at the campground there are many things to do in the area. Will return!

Good Sam rating is way too low this campground is well run and immaculate - lots of things for kids to do - cable and wifi work great - only problem is gravel pad but we do have a concrete patio and nice picnic table Note we have stayed a 250+ campground since we retired in 2009 and this is one of the best ever including some rated 10 10

We were about to give up on KOA's until we arrived here. The pool was crystal clear and practically everywhere you looked you saw someone in a yellow KOA shirt working, smiling, and seemingly happy to be working at this KOA. The sites were small but for a stop over its not a problem. Our site was gravel and LEVEL... yay.. and the cement patio was a blessing... I'm so glad we stopped here and didn't give up on KOA's... The office was well stocked and clean !!! Will definitely return if we are... Read More

We stayed 6 nights to see the area. The park is far enough from I-70 (Exit 24: SR-49, Dayton Greenville Pike) so there is no noise from the Interstate but the last three quarters of a mile is along a rural residential roads (Pleasant Plain Rd & Wellbaum Rd) that are narrow without a shoulder. This was one of the better parks we came across during our travels in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland & New Jersey. The park was well cared for. There have been some new improvements. And there were several nice features but some of them were closed for the season or only open on the weekends. There was an escort to the site. The basic rate was for 30 AMP service. There was an additional $4.00/day charge for 50 AMP service. The interior roads are a mixture of gravel and pavement. Some of them were narrow with tight turns. The site parking pads were gravel. This is another park that doesn't understand the simple concept of the importance of a flat, level parking pad! There are a limited number of sites that appeared level. Those with a pitch had a single or double pitch. Like most KOA's, there is not much privacy between the sites as the sites are very close to each other. The pull through sites were just long enough for coaches and their toads attached. They have full hook ups - water, electricity (50 AMP), & sewer. The utility connections were towards the rear of the sites which could require a lot of hose/cables. There was an outside table and fire pit but a neighbor's fire pit could pose a hazard due to insufficient distance with the neighbor has a large fire. There are basically two different types of camp areas. One has an extensive tree canopy which almost prevents any type of satellite reception. The other has some sites with open access to the sky for satellite reception. There was an adequate choice of cable channels. Didn't try to get any broadcast channels. The provided WiFi was adequate. Our NET10 phone reception was acceptable. The designated fenced pet area was sufficient for small dogs but might be a little small for large dogs. There was sufficient area to walk dogs along the park roads. There was a bag dispenser and cans to collect waste at the fenced pet area. Some pet owners failed to clean up after their dogs in the fenced area to the point where it was a hazard to walk around. For being in a hazardous/severe weather area, there was no underground storm shelter but the new shower/laundry/bathhouse was constructed of sturdy appearing materials. No structure was identified as a severe weather shelter. Would not want to be here when the park is full. But would stay here again if we returned to visit the Dayton area attractions.
