Run down old park that is way over priced for what it has to offer. Pea gravel roads and campsites. Cable doesn't work on site 3. $85 per night and you have to pay for the showers! $3.00 for a load of wash. The park is under staffed and the sites and grounds are not being kept up. Looks like the park was once a very nice campground with gardens and water displays. We've been is other similar parks that only charge $45 per night that are in better condition. than this.

This campground is very overpriced for what it has to offer. It is priced like a nice RV Resort as advertised on the website. We've discovered it is an older park which isn't being maintained. The roads and campsites are gravel. The shrubs surrounding each site are overgrown with weeds growing into the shrubs. The trees are overgrown and encroaching into the sites causing them to be more narrow. For $85 per night, I don't feel I should need to pay to take a shower. The washer and drier fees... Read More

The washer and drier fees are double what we've paid anywhere this summer. The laundry facility on our side of the park is closed as the washing machines aren't working. The swimming pool is closed as they are waiting for a part to be delivered. Office and maintenance staff are very friendly and helpful. I've given this park a rating of one star for the above mentioned reasons. I would rate it higher if the fee was appropriate. This park has the potential to be very beautiful, and well manicured if park and amenities were maintained in good working order.

July 2022 - Be careful with this RV campground. It is too expensive for the gravel/dirt roadways and campsites. The costs are comparative with the best paved sites that are truly rated 10 by Good Sam throughout the US...but this one is not a 10. Good Sam should re-review the ratings for this campground. With the current condition, I would say it is a 7 or 8. The "heated pool" was not open in mid-summer...unknown if it was a bacteria problem or what. They recently changed ownership and raised... They recently changed ownership and raised the price on everything. A state campsite down the road closed for refurbishment, so this site is picking up the business without improving their campground.

I called this place in a panic after we decided to cancel our reservation at a Thousand Trails park down the road. They have a waiting list but miraculously we were able to get in on short notice. Thank you so much! We stayed for one week in site # 2 on the north side. All of the sites on this side of the campground are incredibly long gravel pull-throughs with full hookups. So cool! Big rigs will have absolutely no problem fitting in. Sadly the trees are very young so we roasted during the... Read More

Big rigs will have absolutely no problem fitting in. Sadly the trees are very young so we roasted during the day. Brand new restrooms, laundry and even an indoor pool are in the process of being built, but all of these are unavailable at the moment. The older south side of the campground is where the office is located. Laundry is also available and the machines worked very well. There is also walking access to the lake. Boats and various water equipment are available for rent but we didn't try them. The free campground wifi worked at our site most of the time and it was surprisingly good. My AT&T phone had 2 bars and my wife's Verizon phone had 4 bars. We also enjoyed the free cable channels but ABC was not working for some reason. Office staff was nice and helpful.

this park is beautifully laid out in the woods thus it's a little tight for the biggest rigs. there is an open section across the street for big rigs. it is very quiet and all utilities worked well including cable tv and wifi. restrooms and showers are very nice but you pay for showers (.25 for 7 minutes). roads and pads are gravel and a little muddy during heavy rains. the staff is very friendly. there are quite a few permanent residents in the park but all are clean and quiet at night. we used... Site was gravel, wide and long enough for our 36 foot Class A and Jeep. We had grass, but many sites did not. There was a nice table and a fire ring. Utilities were good, no power issues and very good water pressure. A small wood partition/wall blocks the view of your neighbor's utilities, no view of sewer connections, very nice! There are basically three sections: lower by the lake, upper west heavily tree covered, upper east seasonal, and a new northern section across the road with a large number... Read More

Staff was friendly and helpful. Interior roads were gravel, navigable, but a bit narrow in spots. There is direct access to the lake, boat docks, and they have water craft rentals, but we didn't use. There is a fish cleaning station, and plenty of people were fishing. Park trails are advertised, but upkeep was poor, overgrown.

Crazy friendly staff. They went out of their way to make you comfortable. Found a place to play in the water. I like this place and would return. My only issues is how tight they fit you in and the showers cost money to use. Picture 12 is the most accurate for places to stay in an RV. They do have cabins too!

This is a great park. The owners were so friendly and we had a wonderful site over looking the water. We rented a boat and went and explored the lake and it was so easy to arrange. We stayed during the week so it was not at all crowded. We had a great time and will go back.

This park has a nice mountain feel with the large trees and location right on the lake. The sites are gravel and tight and the hookups are long for many of the sites. The park has a small bathroom & shower room, volleyball area, horse shoes, a dock for boats and a fish cleaning station. See our full review at www.thegilliamsisland.com

The park is very well kept and arranged in a way that most sites have some privacy from those adjacent to them. The owner and staff were helpful and polite. Reserved a pull through spot, and the was 50, 30 and 20 amp service on the post. The cable has a little static on a few channels (but who goes to watch TV?). There is no place to swim in the lake from the RV park as there is no real shore nor was there an attraction for the little kids. However, 2 miles west is Ike Kinswa State Park. The... Read More

The swimming area is PERFECT for little ones as they have roped off areas where it is shallow for a good 30-40 yards. Also the park has toys for the kids and shade trees for the monitoring parents. When you come back from the state park, the kids can ride bikes around and have fun with the other children. The RV park is expanding across the street with more sites. Had a good time. Would return!

Beautiful lake, flowers. The cabins are far above normal - beautifully decorated and maintained. We look forward to returning to enjoy the rental boats on the lake, boat tours and more. We were very pleased with the service and the property. It is a quiet, beautiful park with nice amenities.

Harmony Lakeside is a hidden jewel on Lake Mayfield. The owner and office staff are friendly and helpful. The park is located equidistant between Mt St Helens and Mt Rainier National Parks, and is a perfect jumping off point to see both parks. The park has very good 50 amp shore power, strong WiFi signal, and clean bath/shower house. Cable TV reception was sporadic and snowy at times. We had made previous reservations for a FHU pull thru site for our big rig coach and had a lake view. We thoroughly... Read More
