We are passing through via I-95 and thought this would be convenient. It is, however, i would only recommend it for passing through and if you have a small camper and don't mind interstate traffic noise. The campground roads are narrow, hilly and uneven and in need of maintenance. The bathrooms smell and all the toilets in the ladies room were clogged. (I went in and came right back out.) The campground is dilapidated and it is expensive for just a site with water and electric. There could... Read More

There could be potential here as the trees are a lovely setting but in it's current condition they can't make up for all the other issues.

Overpriced and less than mediocre. This is a trailer park masquerading as a campground. Loads of trailers/campers that don't look to have been moved in years, along with unfriendly residents. The first site they tried to put us in was dramatically un-level AND too short for our rig. Wi-fi is terrible. Even though we ended up in a site only a stone's throw from the office, the wi-fi signal was still only 1 to 2 bars - WHEN it worked. Restrooms were clean - but they are down a long flight of stairs,... Read More

It is disingenuous that they actively advertise the campground as having an on-site brewery. No brewery - and no indication that they ever will have one. They sell some home-brewing supplies and that's it. Really? And oh yeah, they also advertise/claim to have cable too - nope! Don't waste your time or your money. Even for transiting /overnight stops, there are better options in and around northern Virginia/DC.

Stayed here for two days in October 2017. The people who run it are very helpful and polite. The reservation and check in process were easy. The place itself is well laid out. Our site was plenty long and wide enough for our 35 ft travel trailer. All the utilities worked perfectly. The bathrooms and showers were just fine. The one down side has nothing to do with the campground itself but with the location. It's right between RT 95 and RT 1, so road noise is an issue, but we knew that when we booked.... Read More

NEVER AGAIN! This owner has some serious attitude and doesn't hold back. Incredibly rude, mean and arrogant. The campground is not cared for and difficult to maneuver around in. The staff seems to have taken on the persona of the owner. Rude rude rude rude. My guess is that they don't care for the people whom bring in the money. I can tell that they won't be around long because of all the construction going on around them. DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER THIS PLACE. Keep driving by and look elsewhere. Read More

Park was clean, staff was friendly. I had a problem with my power box and the manager/owner came out and replaced a bad 30A switch while I waited. Nice. They are also the only campground that I know of that has an onsite brewery. Only minus here is the traffic/road noise from I95 and US1.

This was a lovely place to find. Beautiful pool set in the woods with large trees all around. Owners are wonderful and accommodating. Will be back for sure
