This is the worst campground I've ever stayed in, so disapointing to have Loretta Lynn's name ascociated with it. The whole place seemed run down and in a state of dis-repair. We stayed in the lower gravel section and the restrooms were horrible and so filthy you wouldn't even want to use them. Most all of the sites were in the open hot sun. Flys were everywhere, probably from all the horse corals and their droppings. We found a partially shaded site with a deck, but the picnic table was missing... Read More

Our 30 amp electric box was so far forward of our site that our camper sruck out almost in the parking lot and made it so far away from the water that our hose couldn't reach the spigot. No wi-fi unless you payed something like $14 a day. No cable, maybe 2 channels on the tv via antenna. All the shops and museum stuff was closed so your stuck out in the hot sun with nothing to see or do. We pre-registered for 2 days but only stayed for one. Asked for a refund of the night we weren't staying ...they took our name and phone number but never heard anything back. Such a disapointment. Was probably a fun place in it's hey-day, but no more. Please go somewhere else. ka187

I was so disappointed in this RV Park. Front office staff was rude. Upon check in she said just go up hill and find you a spot. We tried 3 spaces. All were very narrow with neighbors sewer at our front steps. Roads are horrible. We have a 37 ft TT and it was tight. I would suggest passing this place up and never looking back. Loretta should be sad something like this is attached to her name.

Steer clear of this park. The 50 amp sites are very unlevel and the trees are so close to the roadway that it is difficult to get into and out of the park. What's worse, you have to pay for your site when you make your reservation but you are not guaranteed a specific site. The sites in the 50 amp section are first come first serve. We found 30amp, 16-20' travel trailers in the long pull-thru sites leaving people with larger rigs to search the park for a site or having to go to the smaller, gravel... Read More

No CATV and very few OTA stations but the trees are so thick that satellite is difficult at best. The general store was only open for a few hours and the game room was not open at all during our entire visit. The Loretta Lynn museum is interesting but expensive. Guests in the park get no discount to any of the attractions.

I am so disappointed in this campground. Good Sam's, you need to re-evaluate this site. Even though I had reservations three months in advanced, it is a first come, pick your site Park. Sites left were the worse sites. And only three sites to choose from. If you, like me, put a lot of trust in the Good Sam's Club recommendation, don't stay here unless you want a state park feel. No satellite service, no trash dumpster, no lights in the park. Not at all up to the Good Sam's Club standards that I... Read More

The sites were plenty long but not all level. We were in a 44 ft. 5th wheel had a paved site and had no problem getting in site and plenty long. We stayed in campground going up in hill but had to back out due to trees and drop off of road. We also would not have been able to make the turn at the top of road on the pull out road. Lots of trees hard for large RV. When you check in no one helps you to site some are 30 and some 50. We went through and had to come around because you don't know... Read More

Price is good for a celebrity campground.Campground is quiet and tour of her place were good.

Do not go follow your GPS! It will have you turn on Burned House Rd. which goes up the side of a mountain on a very narrow, steep, winding gravel road with lots of low lying limbs for two miles! We were in a 45 ft. motor coach pulling a vehicle, and there is nowhere to turn around. We almost didn't make it around a couple of the sharp turns. The actual entrance to the ranch/RV park is a couple of miles down the road from where we turned onto the gravel road. This place seems to be nice from... Read More

This place seems to be nice from what we could see at night but the RV park is not big rig friendly.

We took a ride up to Loretta Lynn's RV campground to check out the location, and the easiest way to get there and to look over the park and what was around this location. We were surprised how bad of shape that the rv park was in! The bathhouse was in sad shape, rv spots were small and washed out and I could good on, but you get the picture! I don't know how long ago these high ratings were done, but I would not recommend anyone to stay there in the rv part of the park! I hope that will get... Read More

None of the sites were level, no tv service, no wi-fi (we couldn't even get cell service). The restrooms left a lot to be desired, writing on all the walls and stalls. At first I thought it was messages to Loretta, but most of it was just filth and vulgar. Dead bugs in the shower stalls. Very disappointed, will not stay there again. I will say, the setting was very nice.

Great place to stay. But need more camping in the trees for larger travel trailers and easier way to get into camping spaces for larger rigs.

There appear to be two campground areas at this facility - a lower and upper area. The lower/larger campground contains grassy lots with water and electricity that were fairly easy to get into. Very few slots have fire rings - although firewood was provided. You'd likely stay in this particular area if you were visiting as part of an animal/horse-related event or a motocross event. I did not like the shower/commode area and do not think I'd make regular use of it. The wi-fi signal was strong but,... Read More

I did not like the shower/commode area and do not think I'd make regular use of it. The wi-fi signal was strong but, for some reason, mostly useless. The upper campground, for lack of a better term, is more pleasant with lots of mature trees alongside pull-thru slots with full hook ups. I suggest camping in this area - not the lower campground. There are also cute cabins for those without RVs. We went off-season so the small on-site store was understandably closed, but the game room (old school video games and pool tables) was open as were the showers and such there. The laundry room was open and is in the same large area as the game room. There's another general store across the street from the campground with supplies and food, and we bought things there several times. The staff there was great. The mansion, mill, and related attractions are a short drive away (but not within walking distance) and were a bit touristy as expected. Several gift/souvenir shops and such make up most of what's there, and the mill and related falls are beautiful. The entire staff (some of whom said they are relatives of Mrs. Lynn) was absolutely wonderful wherever we went on property and should make Mrs. Lynn proud. They obviously care about the place and are assets to the property. We took home a few souvenirs and sauces and have enjoyed them since. We'll return at some point but will stay in the upper campground to enjoy the shade. Overall a good experience.

Pull-through sites are unbelievably tight. Neighbors W/E/S was literally under my half open awning as was my W/E/S on the other side. The 'General Store & laundry / game room never opened. When asked was told ( by maintenance worker ) "it only opens if we have a large crowd. -- interesting because there was 90% capacity. All paved pull-through sites are 50 amp ONLY. This was not mentioned at time of reservation. However they were happy to sell or rent a 30 amp adapter. Last - sites are not reserved. When checking in was told which of the sites they thought were level and easily accessible. Surprise - got there to find only about eight out of nearly thirty sites available. WiFi virtually nonexistent. Slow, slow, slow even with a strong signal. It quickly became apparent that RV facilities were not high on the list. Lastly, events, LL museum, tours are 2.5 miles from camp. Better have a separate vehicle or - you can rent a golf cart from them. Bottom line: Very interesting museum and tour - but I will never camp there again.
