Saying we stayed there is a loose statement. We arrived at 6:30 pm on Friday. Upon checking in we were told that the site we had booked was flooded and they have moved us to another site. We went to our site to find the fire pit under water and the rest of the site shall we say very wet but not under water. I think we would have fit but our unit would be right at the road. For us the fire pit is a huge deal since we do ALL our meals over the fire. So with that being said we went back up to the office to explain that that site was unacceptable. The owner laughed at us when we asked if we could have a refund. He said they moved us to an acceptable site. ( by who's standards) We asked why they didn't call us ahead of time as to the situation. Again he said we did you didn't answer your phone? There was no message left on our three phones. This was by far the worst customer service we have received in the 25 years of camping. With that we left with a 100.00 camping charge on our charge card, and the owner making a gesture of playing a fiddle and calling my husband a(donkey) for asking for a refund. I can say the wifi doesn't work by the office and verizon doesn't have cell service there. The reason I do know that is, I had to wait to get out of the bluffs to call our charge card and file a claim against them. And hour and half later we were back at home. Not the best camping weekend.
