Traveling full-time in a 38-foot coach we stayed 16-nights in a site for big rigs (site # 43). Pd $54.29/night. The good..if you desire to stay close to Philadelphia this would be an excellent choice. This is a very quiet park and very well maintained. If you have a dog there is ample area to walk your pet plus a fenced dog park located at the front of the park. Our AT&T phones worked great here and we also had satellite reception. If you have a dog there is ample area to walk your pet plus a fenced dog park located at the front of the park. Our AT&T phones worked great here and we also had satellite reception. However, if your site is on the outside perimeter, you may not get satellite reception because of the beautiful tall trees surrounding the park. After 16-nights, the dust on our coach was minimal compared to many other parks. Big coaches need a gravel pad, so we give this RV Park a 5-star rating for the thick gravel pad. Each site had room at the side of the coach for sitting and relaxing while BBQ'ing. There are two separate sections to this park, the back section located on the back side of the beautiful pond area. We stayed in the front section of the park at the end of a row, which turned-out to be one of the better sites. The bad.the park provides a free wifi hotspot for checking email and surfing the web, but it can only be accessed at the office area. If you want wifi at your site then wifi can be purchased thru a third party provider. We went the extra mile and paid $28 for the streaming package. The wifi sucked. We were never able to stream or open email attachments using their wifi. Sent the wifi provider 3-emails, but never received a response back. We felt totally ripped-off. Other then the bad wifi experience, we enjoyed our stay there and would probably stay again. We'd just be prepared to use our own hot spot instead of paying for a wifi package that never worked!

Nice park with level sites. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. However the sites aren't very long and are very narrow. The wifi was non existent and there wasn't much of a view unless you were in a site that overlooked the park and lake. Overall the park was OK and we liked it being easy access to the interstate. We went there to visit Phili and not to lounge around.

Stayed here a few times as we were just passing through to our destinations. Great location and easy access to highway. Prices were reasonable for the proximity. Staff was friendly. Bathrooms/Showers were clean. Sites were a little tight but long enough to accommodate our 32 foot towing our car.

Our stay at Timberlane was great! Staff was very accommodating to some schedule changes that occurred during our stay. Most other campgrounds have not been very sensitive to our needs as this campground. They have been owned by the same family for over 35 years and staff have been there for 10 years or more. It shows?? Don't understand the negative comments for this campground. Well maintained, laundry was clean. Would highly recommend!!!

This is a nice park with good folks who own and operate. I was here for a long stay thru the winter and I had a great experience. There are other long term guests working on big projects in nearby Philadelphia and Salem county, but they also are a good stopping place for travelers who need a few nights, but book in advance through the summer months especially! Clean, neat and cared for, with a nice pool/whirlpool that is open from May til Labor Day usually

We stayed here for 2 nights for easy access to the Walnut Street Theater in Philadelphia. It was only 20 minutes to center city. The campground is a small, older one but well maintained. Check in was easy with a friendly staff and I didn't have any problem navigating my 40' 5th wheel into the site, but our site along with about a third of the others was very narrow. There was probably only 4' between my extended awning and the neighboring RV. There's a nice pond and plenty of room to walk... Read More

We'll definitely stay here again as long as a larger site is available.

The campground was easy to navigate and park. Clean and quite. Surrounding area questionable but felt safe and isolated once inside.

1st thoughts while on phone trying to make a resevation for 1 month were harsh. I had second thoughts. i went as far as to try another location visually before trying this place again. I was not pleased with the lady who checked me in. After checking in, i never had dealings with her again. Everyone else in the ranks were very polite and helpful. I had a daytime asignment and was not disturbed. Al was very quiet and peaceful. Shower house was always clean, even thought i only used restrom there. Read More

We stayed 5 nights to see the area. There isn't much to choose from in the area. They DO NOT respond to email inquiries so call. Once you've made reservations, they do communicate by email. The park has easy access from Northbound Interstate 295 but is a little bit of an adventure from Southbound Interstate 295. The interior roads were paved. The roads were very narrow with tight 90 degree turns that were encumbered by posts at the corners. The sites were gravel, narrow, but generally level.... Read More

The roads were very narrow with tight 90 degree turns that were encumbered by posts at the corners. The sites were gravel, narrow, but generally level. The sites were very close to each other so there wasn't much privacy. The utility connections were about mid way down or towards the end of the sites which required some long runs. It seemed most of the sites had an outside table and fire pit. There appeared to be A LOT of long term residents. They seemed to be spread out all over the park. The trees in and around the park made satellite reception hit and miss depending on site assignment and your dish configuration. The park brochure showed 9 broadcast channels. There was an extensive list of cable channels. WiFi reception was only available in the office. Paid WiFi reception was available around the park. The designated pet area was an open field near the front entrance. There was a bag dispenser and can to collect waste. There was sufficient area to walk dogs along the park roads and in other open fields around the park. There were no bag dispensers around the park to pick up waste and only one dumpster for garbage which was located near the front of the park on the way out. For being in a hazardous/severe weather area, there was no underground storm shelter. None of the structures in the park were identified as a severe weather shelter. Would only stay here again if traveling through or visiting the area for a short duration.

Camp grounds had dirt/mud which tracked into camper. Restrooms were old but clean, not much appeal to the camp grounds.

Timberlane was the perfect stop over for our trip from Maine to Virginia. It was easy to access from the highway. The staff when booking the reservation and at our arrival were pleasant and informative. It was quiet and the restrooms and showers were very clean (used ones near our site at far end and not by office). The pool was clean and we enjoyed it with our toddler. Perfect for the hot day. It's pretty much a low class campground. They had a bunch of rain and wind shortly before we arrived. Enough so it blew trees down and sites were flooded. I'm keeping this in mind while I write this review so as not to be too harsh. The campground smelled horribly of septic odor. The buildings are very old and rundown. There is nothing modern about it. Staff was only moderately nice/helpful. I will do my best to find better accommodations should I travel to this part of the country in the future. Read More

Over night stop returning to Florida. The pull through site assigned was level. Paved roads, but sites are gravel and dirt. There is an abundance of grass where people don't walk. All services worked correctly and were easy to reach. ATT and Verizon both data and voice were strong. Very quiet surroundings. Did not use bath facilities, so can't really comment on their cleanliness.
