This campground has no reservations so it's based on what's available when you arrive. You select your spot then pay at the kiosk which takes credit cards or cash. The rate is 25.00 per night. We had the hardest time getting our 31ft rig leveled at the available spot we selected. We used all of our leveling blocks on the rear dual tires at 4 blocks high and still wasn't level. A lot of the lots are on an incline up from the road. It's very decieving by how much due to the landscape of the terrain... Read More

A lot of the lots are on an incline up from the road. It's very decieving by how much due to the landscape of the terrain and how the spots are arranged. Our neighbors had extra blocks they were going to give us as they were setting up as they were convinced they only needed a few for their trailer. They used all of them! We found a volunteer park ranger who was on a golf cart who drove us around to see what other spots were left that were possibly more level and was long enough for our rig and tow car. He was very patient and gracious with us as he ended up offering us his camp host lot #1 next to the kiosk office building as it was the most level spot and could handle our length when we could not find another suitable spot as the campground was filling up quickly. We probably wouldn't have been able to stay there if it wasn't for his assistance and kindness. We are glad we did as we had a great time during our stay! The kids enjoyed playing in the creek that runs behind the campground. We took the hiking trail to hot springs town where all the bath houses are. Definitely tour the fordyce bath house museum, it was very interesting to see. We enjoyed lunch at Superior bathhouse brewery. It's the old bath house that they converted into a restaurant and brewery. The food and beer was fabulous and I loved how they converted the check in desk to where they put all the beer taps for serving. Lastly, you should have a thermal bath when you are there. I went to Quapaw bath house and it was exhilarating experience and like they say, when in Rome....

Restrooms were clean, No showers. Senior Pass at $15.00 rate is available. When entering your space number in the Kiosk, it will give you the option for Senior. Select that option and you pay your Senior Pass rate. Regular rate is $30.00.. No Cable, but full hookups. I did not notice any sites that were not paved with asphalt. We were in site 25, level, plenty of room for slidouts. Stream behind us was nice, well shaded, Quite and no moseqitos when we were there. The only 2 things that some might... Read More

The only 2 things that some might find unacceptable are, only 1 over the air Tv channel worked for us and no shower facilities. So, if you want quite, full hookups, shade and big site availability, stay here. If you want TV and/or shower house, don't stay here. Interior road were in excellent shape as were the parking pads, asphalt hard surface.

Nice campground with access to the hot springs. We had a back in site that was paved and plenty large for our 32' Bounder. It was right next to the stream. There are trails going up into the mountain from the CG. Beware if you have a NPS Annual Pass or the like they do not give a discount on camping.

Fee is $15 -$30 this year Most of the sites are now paved with full hook-ups. It would be a really nice in the summer with the trees and stream running by the sheer cliff on the back side.
