Awesome time. Beautiful place. The owners are so great. We will be coming back next year for sure!

New owners are even better than the previous owners. Nice quiet, clean and very well mainted campground. Took care of a little snag I had in the reservations that was my fault, and were great about it. I can highly recommend this campground.

An absolute beautiful campground with an incredible view, great fishing, delicious ice cream and more.

If you are looking for a retirement home community, this is the place for you. Otherwise...move on to another campground. Unbelievably, we heard flack for using the "camps" hot water when we have our own showers in our campers. I thought that was part of what we paid for but apparently the owners only expect tent campers to use them! There is NO kids here. While there may be a very small playground and a swing set, the swimming area is awful. You must have two adults for kids to be near the... Read More

I thought that was part of what we paid for but apparently the owners only expect tent campers to use them! There is NO kids here. While there may be a very small playground and a swing set, the swimming area is awful. You must have two adults for kids to be near the "ponds" so swimming and fishing are very limited. The ponds are filthy with cut grass clogging the water and its so murky you cant see the bottom. There's standing pools of water and mud bogs that have been there all summer and are a breading ground for mosquitos. Bring your own entertainment at night, because you're not going to enjoy a fire without being eaten by the bugs. And if you brave the bugs and have a fire past 9 pm, you'll be the only one in the campgound awake. You can get ice cream after dinner only, they are closed all day, and you'll pay $2 for a single scoop delivered with a whole lot of condescending attitude. All in all if you have kids or are looking for more then an overnight stop, keep driving.

I would have given a higher rating but the store was only open between 6:30 and 8:30 pm. I tried writing more but timed out twice so this is it. We would recommend.
