Off the beaten path if you are just passing through, but worth the effort. Quiet park with good layout. Our particular spot was not very level, but the cleanliness of the park made up for it. Enjoyed our short time there.
A nice campground within walking distance of the lake and soft ice cream stand. Nice level sites.
This is just your average RV park. What I was impressed with is the laundry which has many machines. What I didn't like is that the WiFi did not work.
Road Trip 2018 (1 night): Staff is great. Bathrooms clean but dated. Sites are close, but level. I am tired of looking at sewage hookups when I step out my door as well. Eggs for sale are fine, but chickens running loose in the campground, NO! My leashed dog almost got a couple.
We stopped at Oakwood RV Park in Clear Lake, IA. It is RAINING. We were met by a man that did not introduce himself. We had to pay cash for one night ($35.00), did not give us a receipt had to pick it up on the way out. The park looks pretty nice. Water pressure was low. We wish we stayed at other park.
Huge pull thru sites, level and well graveled. More than enough room fro our 40ft 5th wheel and tow vehicle. Quiet location, good satellite reception, Verizon service good. Didn't use restrooms so can't comment on those. It is cash only or check but price is very reasonable. Not far from shopping or dining. Our GPS had no problem locating the campground. We have been here twice and wouldn't hesitate to come back. Staff is friendly and escort you to your site
This is a very beautiful property. And the staff/camp hosts are great. We got lost, missing the turn off to the campground. We called and asked for instructions to where we could turn around. God bless them, they actually came and found us and led us around to the campground. The property is absolutely beautiful. So clean and well groomed. It appears to be set more for elders, like us, more than for children. I may be wrong, but I saw no playground or areas for children. And the rates are very reasonable.... Read More

There is cement pads with picnic tables for each site. The lake itself is a short drive away. Wish we had more time to stay longer, but we are on our way to Wisconsin from Yuma, and could only stay one night. Many, many thanks to these wonderful people.

Nice park like setting. Very large pull thru sites. Did not use RR or showers. Note I was not offered a park map so have no idea where the RR and showers are located. Close proximity to the lake but did not see rec activities on park grounds. Be aware: The park does NOT accept credit cards but will take out of state checks. Do not rely on your GPS to find the park - call for directions. Roads to the park were under construction and very rough.
This is a very quiet, peaceful campground, close enough to town for shopping and dining, but far enough away to give a country feel. The pull-through sites are long and level. The only negative is the television reception. Very limited channels.
