I should have known this wasn't a good option when it doesn't ask for what kind of camper / size and doesn't give info about the specific sites...etc. but they made me pay for the site ENTIRELY at time of booking. I initially booked a lake view, only to realize, by MY OWN search (not site specific information) that the site only fit 28' campers or smaller. I'm a 40' MH. Then, when I got there and was greeted with the RULES! Not very welcome. When we got to the SOAKING WET grassy site, not only... Read More

Then, when I got there and was greeted with the RULES! Not very welcome. When we got to the SOAKING WET grassy site, not only would I not be able to swing in to it because there was a BIG tree that would have taken out the mechanics on the roof, but there was a picnic table in the middle of the site. So we got out to move it and the site was SOAKING WET from the recent rain. There was NO WAY I was going to pull my 40' / 18+ ton Motorhome to sink! When I went back to the front, I was told that they couldn't help the rain and there was no where for me to park. But no, they wouldn't refund my money. SO... I had to go somewhere else and they literally stole $200 from me. I called and even asked for a partial refund, but NO. It's a shame because we have family who just moved close by and that would have been a great spot for us. Poor business practice and RUDE / condescending staff. It's clear that they have lost the love of what they do because the grounds were very poorly maintained as well. But that's a whole different post.

We stayed over a holiday weekend and got in early on a Thrusday. Premium prices, horrible quality. no water for over 6 hours on Friday, then to hear this is a normal situation. Pool was closed all day on Friday due to the water situation. DO NOT DRINK any of their water. Horrible. Even a filter could not help the situation. no power on Saturday, blown transformer. They say NO Drugs, but all you could smell all weekend was the POT smokers everywhere. Seasonals behind us physically fighting... Read More

It's a shame, could be an awesome place, but they don't take care of it. They offered us a $20 credit for the water situation, but only to be used on a future return stay. On a positive note, the owners of the carryout were awesome people.

This could be a wonderful campground to visit if they paid a little more attention to the small things. They appeared to have nice facilities, but we only stayed a couple of days on only used the pool (which our son liked). There was some confusion on whether we could check in early on a Sunday (one person said maybe, another rudely said 'no'), which probably tainted our view of the park. Our site was a grassy pull in area, but we had to do some cleanup before we could even pull in. We noticed... Read More

We noticed a lot of small pieces of trash everywhere which detracted from what this campground could be. It appears they cater to the permanent residents. I don't think we will camp there again.

How does this campground get a 9.5 rating when their water is non-potable? We were charged full rate here for 4 nights and the first two nights the water was off. Then when it was turned on, we were told it was non-potable. What good is it? The water is also yellow in color and smells gross. This campground is not ready for campers and should not charge campers full price for sub standard conditions. Also, be aware that there are MANY 5th wheel campers here that obviously are here all year long... Read More

The decks, gazebos, and porches on them make this place look like a run down trailer park. Very disappointing place.
