This place could be awesome. It has a lot going for it: clean bathrooms, large showers, great laundry room, large and secluded sites. BUT....what it is lacking is really important. There are NO PICNIC TABLES at any of the sites. Fine if you're in a camper, but not if you're in a tent. There are NO FIRE RINGS. Not a big deal for us because we don't ever use them, but many people love them. Showers were $4.00, which we didn't know until we went to use them. Here's the kicker though: BATHROOMS AND... Here's the kicker though: BATHROOMS AND SHOWERS CLOSED from 10:00pm until 8:00am!!!! What kind of campground doesn't let people use the bathrooms after 10 at night and before 8 in the morning? That's the most ridiculous thing we've ever seen!n I get that since they allow public access to the bath/shower/laundry room during the day that they want it to be off limits to the public after 8:00. That makes sense. They have a coded lock on the door (which we had to ask for by the way...it wasn't given to us at check-in) but that's only good until 10. We thought this was all very strange, and actually dishonest. It says nothing about any of this on their website or the email we got when making the reservation. Originally planned to stay 3 nights, but decided to leave after 2 because of an incoming storm. And guess what? No refund for that 3rd night either!

After traveling the Alaska Highway we finally making it to Denali and we felt that we needed a place to stay before we got in to Anchorage. We stayed in this RV park. We are a 37 foot fifth wheel and need a space that will accommodate us--which they had. Check in was smooth. We had a reservation and they had it. We were in a very treed area. The facility had a picnic area with a huge iron fire pit built for warmth. There were several mosquito collectors with the propane that were going throughout... Read More

We used both the laundry, restroom, and shower facilities. All were as expected. Park was located near Denali State Park and we drove there and enjoyed the scenery and the hiking.

This is a really nice little park. We stopped here on our way to Anchorage because it was right on Parks Highway and I wanted a chance to visit Talkeetna. There isn't much to Trapper Creek except Trapper Creek Inn and RV Park so we were pleasantly surprised. We stayed in a full hookup pull through with 50 amp service under some nice Birch Trees. Lots of trees in this park. Neighbors are close but the park is quiet so it wasn't a problem for us. Laundry room is modern and clean. So are the... Read More

(Showers are a little pricey -$4.00 for about a 10 minute shower) Verizon signal was strong here so we use our data plan for internet. Didn't try the wifi. There is no cable. Pretty well stocked convenience store on the property and a fuel station. Owners were very friendly and helpful. I recommend this park to anyone traveling through.
