Our family found this gem by driving through the 395 to make it to our other destination that we pulled off right before the office closed and we have no regrets. The dog park was extra large and my 2 dogs loved their time exercising. The dog pen was super clean and provided you with doggie bags in case you didn't have yours. The RV spot was clean & maintained daily. We had such an amazing short visit here we called back 3 days later to see if they had can accommodate us again. Our family & friends... Read More

I stayed one night, October 28. It's pretty quiet in the eastern Sierras heading into November the same applied to Boulder Creek. It's a large RV park, so was not very full. Nice clubhouse with quite an impressive bird collection! Clean restrooms, although access after 7PM (office closing time) was a bit circuitous. Even though right next to highway 395, it was relatively quiet. My guess is that spaces further from the road would be quieter (#46+). Spectacular view of the Sierras to the west... Read More

Spectacular view of the Sierras to the west and White Mountains to the east. Very pet friendly, it has one of the largest dog walks I've seen in my various travels. If that's not big enough, just head east down the road towards what's left of Owens Lake. You can walk, run, or ride a bike for hours. No problems with check-in or check-out. Staff seemed nice enough.

We had a wonderful stay over a long weekend at the Boulder Creek RV Park. Although the weather turned out to be very windy, the facilities were very clean and organized, the camp site had nice trees, very clean, and most importantly, the staff was very helpful. On the day we were to leave, our rig had an issue with a stabilizer jack. The staff was very helpful allowing us to use a couple of his tools to make a quick repair and we were on our way. Would highly recommend Boulder Creek RV Park... Read More

I had my doubts about this place when we first pulled in. Dirt roads and dirt sites aren't the norm for us. But, after an hour I loved it. Beautiful views of the mountains, huge dog walk area, big store, surrounded by a lot of nothing. I enjoy peace and quiet. Someone can check you in as late as 10 PM, at least when we stayed there. Sites are wide, dirt and fairly level. Will stay there again when in the area.

We stayed in a pull through spot adjacent the pet run. Store is well stocked. The bathrooms have ample space and are very clean. Spots are gravel, but level. Our surge protector reported open ground on our spot, on the 30 AMP service. I can't comment on internet and TV. Check in went smoothly.

First of all, don't be alarmed if this place comes up as Boulder Creek "Mobile Home" and RV Resort in your online search. There are no mobile homes here. However, it is not a "Resort" either. It has more of a campground feel with full hook-ups and some nice amenities - showers, laundry, pool, hot tub, horseshoe pits, and a clubhouse with tables for eating/games and a TV with some couches and rocking chairs. Free coffee and homemade muffins every morning. There is store with lots of unique gifts,... Read More

Free coffee and homemade muffins every morning. There is store with lots of unique gifts, kitchen necessities, souvenirs, and a nice selection of craft beer. Propane is also for sale. All staff were super friendly! The sites are pretty tight, but enough room for our slides (both sides), fully extended awning and room to enjoy the picnic table and fire ring. The sites towards the store/clubhouse are back-ins, but the rest of the park seems to be pull-through. Depending on your site, there are great views of Mt Whitney which look awesome at sunrise and just after sunset. It seems to be a popular pass through campground for folks on their way up or down Hwy 395. We used it as a base camp to explore the area. Great hikes can be found at Whitney Portal (you need a permit to go past Lone Pine Lake - which is a long hike itself), Horseshoe Meadow and Cottonwood Lake. The Alabama Hills are only a couple of miles away and are pretty amazing. Lone Pine is a small town but has all the necessities - grocery store, hardware store, post office, a saloon (beer & wine only) and a few restaurants. If you decide to eat out and like Chinese food, the Merry Go Round restaurant is incredible. Check out the reviews on Yelp and you'll see what I mean. Overall, it is a nice quaint park with lots of outdoor options nearby. We stayed for a week and that was just about right.

As advertised. Nice pool, restrooms are clean, management is friendly and helpful. Park is quiet. Lots of evergreen trees. I would recommend (and have) this park

We stayed 3 nights to see some of the sights in the area. The park is right off HWY 395 several miles South of Lone Pine. HWY 395 is a 4 lane divided highway so getting into the park South bound requires crossing the North bound lanes. The interior roads are paved. Some tight turns and tree encroachment posed a challenge to maneuver larger RV's. The sites are a mixture of back-ins and pull thrus. The parking pads are irt/sand. Some tight turns and tree encroachment posed a challenge to maneuver larger RV's. The sites are a mixture of back-ins and pull thrus. The parking pads are irt/sand. The P/T sites were long enough to say connected to a toad or wide enough to park 2 vehicles abreast. Sites had sufficient room for opening slides. Park built on a slope. This park didn't understand the simple concept of the importance of a flat, level site as the sites seemed to have a bi-directional pitch. The parking pad in our site had a swale so it was difficult to get level. Distance and sandy areas establish privacy between the sites. They have full hook ups - water, electricity (50/30/20 AMP), & sewer. But the surge protector revealed the LI & Neutral leads were reversed. The sewer connection was on the uphill side of the site and stood above ground making it difficult to establish a downhill flow. There was a small wooden outside table and a fire pits. There were quite a few trees scattered throughout the park so satellite reception would be dependent upon your site. The park brochure showed 12 cable channels but no mention of any broadcast channels. Didn't try to get any broadcast channels. The park provided WiFi was slow. It wouldn't load pages. It was password protected. Our Verizon WiFi hotspot worked well. Didn't try the NET10 phone so don't know about cell phone reception. There was one designated fenced pet areas with a sandy surface located in middle of the park. There were bag dispensers and collection stations for waste in the fenced pet area. There was sufficient area to walk dogs along the park's roads. We would probably stay here again if traveling through the area as there are not a lot of choices.

We enjoyed this park. We stayed 3 nights. Nice shady spot, dirt but fairly level. Lot of road noise. Would try to get a spot closer to the rear of the park next time. Staff was friendly & helpful.

I believe this RV Park is over rated by Good Sam. Granted one has a wonderful view of Mt. Whitney and the surrounding Serrias, but the sites themselves are dirt mixed with a bit if gravel. It's always discouraging to come into an RV park with high expectations because of Good Sam ratings only to fine the sites particularly not usable because of the dirt that winds up being tracked into one unit.

Nice employees that are very helpful. Not real appealing but good for an overnight stay.

This was a very friendly campground. Fellow campers & staff. The campground was clean & well cared for. A great experience. Alot of sites to see in the area. Be sure to check out the Beverly & Jim Rogers Museum, The Alabama Hills, where many movies have been made, and the Cerro Gordo Ghost Town/Mine. You will have to call ahead in order to visit the town. Should have 4 wheel drive.

Clean but dusty park. Roads are paved, but sites are on dirt and surrounded by big boulders. You have to be careful when pulling into your site. The boulders and big, but hard to see from your vehicle and easy to hit. There is a dirt road right next to the park with lots of dump truck traffic which increases the dust in the area. The park is outside of Lone Pine which is very good. Close enough to go to town and yet far enough to be quiet. The park is well maintained with a good store on site.... Read More

The workers are very professional and attentive. It has a small pool and hot tub which can be too small when children are in it. For your dog, it has a large dog run area with a very nicely kept fence. Wi-fi is very good. The views from the park are outstanding with a very short drive to Whitney Portal, Horseshoe Meadows Campground and the Alabama Hill Recreation Area in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Best park in the Lone Pine area, Highly recommend it!!!

GREAT PLACE TO STAY! Stayed here for two nights and wish we could have stayed longer. Great amenities and lots to see and do in the area. Be sure to book a few extra days to explore!

We have staying at RV parks all over the country and Boulder Creek is one of the nicest, well managed parks we have stayed at in recent years. The rv sites and facilities are well maintained and clean. The staff is professional and customer focused. The wifi works great and the park itself is located is one of California's most picturesque locations.

Very clean, quiet park with great access to area activities. Restaurants in Lone Pine were very good.

We have been staying at Boulder Creek since they opened and is one of our favorite stops traveling Hwy 395 . Staff is friendly and professional . Pool and spa always clean and inviting. Family and pet friendly. Trees add to privacy at sites . Comfortable Rec room.

Very nice park. Interior paved roads were good. Most sites are pull-thru's on gravel. Our site was spacious and level. Park staff was very professional and friendly. Laundry has three large capacity and very new commercial washers and four fairly new large capacity dryers. Very pet friendly with two separate fenced dog runs. Mini Mart was well stocked. Wifi was iffy, at times worked fine, other times not so much.
