Stayed the weekend for a family reunion. The camp host were very nice and helpful. Sites are all paved and mostly level. We stayed in a site over looking the lake which was very pretty. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a beautiful park with shaded spots overlooking the lake. Newly renovated pads are large with fencing, fire pits and picnic tables. Paved walking trails around the entire lake. Also has unpaved, more rugged trails as well. Beach area was closed during our visit due to COVID-19 restrictions. We stayed about 5 days. This park has set a high standard for my wife and me since it was our first park as newbie RV'ers. WiFi and mobile phone service are excellent. We were able to work using... Read More

We stayed at this park on the way home to Florida. Very well kept up. Sites were roomy enough for 36 foot motor home and tow car. beautiful lake view with paved walking path around lake. We were there after Labor Day so the swimming beach was closed. Great value for $25. You cannot pick out your site until you arrive. We will definitely stay here again.

This was a great park, under renovation upgrading sites to all concrete with metal fencing, yes fencing you are on the side of a large hill over looking a huge lake with giant trees so is easy to imagine someone may have taken a tumble down the hill. Once all the sites are upgraded this will be a wonderful place. One thing though your specific site is not reserved, you have to drive through the area and look for an open site that will accommodate your RV and Truck or whatever you have. Once we... Read More

Once we figured out how to read the map no problem. there is a walking path (concrete) around the lake with gorgeous views, ducks and wildlife. Hiking trails, bike trails, tent camping, beach area for swimmers. Security came by to check on us right way, was very helpful. This is small park but I would definitely come back. Showers and bathrooms are a typical public park, not that great, but we didn't need them. This is the park for the outdoor person. We will return, probably not on the weekend or holiday due to the size of the park.

Truly a Hidden Gem! Less than 4 miles off I-20. Concrete sites, full hook-ups with WiFi that works well. Many sites back up to the lake, and 4 pull throughs. We located at site 24 which was a pull thru with a view of the lake across the street. Reservations may be made for a site, but not a specific one. The Campground map shows the length of the site which is very helpful. Nicely spaced sites in a heavily treed area. We camp in a 40' 5th wheel and were here in mid October.

We found this campground by total accident. We're so glad we did. It is as beautiful as a postcard. Our windows faced a lovely tree lined lake complete with ducks and other birds. There is a paved path all the way around the lake for walking and running. Bike trails through the woods and a small dock for canoes and kayaks. The restrooms and showers are clean but not air conditioned. Oh well, we will be back regardless.
