My husband and I booked this campground a few months ago and online it looked like a nice place. However, when we arrived it was not how the photos portrayed. There were hardly any lights so we passed it initially, then we pulled into a motel where an envelope was waiting with a map to our site. The map was hard to read and the park was hardly lit so we had a hard time finding our spot. Then when we pulled into our spot we realized there was drug activity going on in the motel right in front of... Read More

I didn’t even see what the facilities looked like due to the concern of the area. We will not be returning.

The bath house was a rating of less and a 1 as the bath house was not air conditioned, it was dirty. There were 6 shower stalls, but 3 of them were marked out of order, 1 was not marked out of order, but did not have light or shower curtain. 1 had a lot of ants on the floor and 1 had a shower curtain with mold all over it. So basically no shower that was 100% useable. Certainly no worth a rating of an 8 which I believe is what the book showed! There was no time to talk to anyone about bath house... Read More

Stopped for one night here only because the next closest campground was another hour away. Office help was very pleasant. The sewer hookup was more to the front of the site than in the rear so I did not hook up. However, after setting up camp I heard a loud noise from the rear of the property that turned out to be a cattle yard. The smell was overwhelming. Also, across the highway was a railroad track and trains blowing their whistles all night long. Needless to say I left early the next... Read More
