On our cross country trip this is one of the nicest RV parks we have visited. Full hookups, nice level sites with paved patio area, very nice swimming pool. We were next door and within walking distance of Barefoot Landing, which reminded me Disney World Village with restaurants, entertainment and adult beverages. The first 2 days, arriving late Friday night, were great. But Monday problems began. Read their restrictions VERY carefully as the "Enforcer" WILL be around to ensure you do. Dog fencing is restricted to 96" total space, approx 8X8 square. You can not extend your fencing out onto the grass. Both of us are handicapped and unable to walk our dogs around the park. We need to be able to open our camper door to let them out to a fenced area that extends into the grass. Both my dogs are service animals.... Read More

The husky is a mobility dog and the Shih Tzu is a diabetic alert. I have multiple fusions in my spine and fall a lot. Excess walking causes severe pain. I fell outside the office on Monday resulting in an ER visit 2 days later. I asked the "Enforcer" if I could please extend my fence so my dogs could go to the bathroom in the grass. My fence panels are light and easily moved. I could have moved them in/out as needed. The fence gives me something to hold on to if I start to fall where out in the park I have nothing. Because of the small space my Husky played too ruff with the little one stepping on her hind leg. This resulted to a emergency trip to a vet for $270 vet bill. My Shih Tzu is insured for $28,000 as a diabetic alert dog. I can't afford to loose her. Again I asked for "A reasonable accommodation" for my disability and was told no. I showed them a photo of my spine and wanted to show them my dog's certifications AND my doctor prescription. Not interested. Sorry, the rules are the rules are the rules..... By Thursday I was in so much pain I couldn't handle any more. My husband has severe neuropathy and can not walk without assistance. He has no equilibrium. He too falls frequently. We packed up Friday morning and came home before the end of our reservation. We were both in physical pain and emotionally spent. This could have all been avoided simply with the Enforcer allowing us to move the fence enough for the pups to go to bathroom. Simple. Just a reasonable accommodation for a handicap. That's all we asked. The second issue was when a friend came to have tea with me. She parked on the grass next to our rental car. And of course, the Enforcer came by saying she could not park there. She said she would move to the lot next to me that had just been vacated. The Enforcer said no, not allowed. My friend had to leave as the only parking was out by the office and further than she could walk. Yet not 20 minutes after she left a huge panel truck that cleaned campers pulled in that spot while they cleaned a Class A in the spot behind us. Why are they allowed to park there? And lastly, the atmosphere... The people who own there clearly want the rules enforced. Either rode by in their golf carts or watched as they went by and sure enough not long after the Enforcer came to inform us we were not in compliance. It got to where when she came up I asked what I was doing wrong now. We absolutely did NOT feel welcome. Currently I am composing a letter to their Board which owns the campgrounds. The Enforcer advised me they were not required to be ADA compliant as they are privately owned. I called ADA headquarters in Washington, DC. Even though they are privately owned they DO accept money from the public and are therefore required to be ADA compliant. We will NEVER go back there and will advise our friends to not go there. It was a horrible experience for us. I cannot reiterate enough how miserable we were and a simple fix could have prevented it all.

This inland park at Myrtle Beach is very clean and the pool and recreation "house" is supersize! The staff was pleasant and it's a nice quiet park.

Really nice and fun stay. We chose this park because we were going to House of Blues and it is within walking distance. There is also many stores, shops, and things to do very close. The park was very clean and well kept. Everybody was friendly and it was a very pet friendly rv park. Many of the people that weekend had dogs and all were nice and friendly. The only criticism I have is their "dog park" which is a very tiny fenced in area about the size of an RV. But this was no concern at all to us; the beach isn't far so it's easy to just take a walk on the beach! We will definitely go back! Staff was extremely friendly and helpful!

Clean. Nice. Safe. Recommend. Would stay there again.

Over priced!! but very nice campground. Not special other than location and proximity to ocean. Stayed 2 days at $66/day and received the same quality as a $32 campground. Nice level spaces, well thought out layouts. Used the laundry facilities which were nice. Watch the voltage quality as we tripped our 30 amp 3 times during our stay and our quality was always borderline. Highway into and departing is very rough on campers (hold onto your wheel tight!).

This is our 3rd stay at Briarcliff resort. We liked the setup of the of the campground from the 1st time that is why we went back. The staff is very helpful. Sites are easy to back into, Maintenance of the surroundings are great. The attractions were nearby some in walking distance & some in short driving distance. We are looking forward to going back.
